I recently started enjoying book set in the 1900s and before. These books allow me to experience things that I will never experience. For example the World Wars. Wolf Hollow is based during the second world war. This is a story about standing up to bullies. Anabelle is a school age girl who lives in a small town in Pennsylvania.One day, a bully named Betty frollicks into her school, at first Betty troubles Anabelle but then Betty starts focussing her attacks on a worn world war I soldier named Toby. Eventually, Betty does serious attacks injuring people and she starts blaming Toby for these attacks. Anabelle sees Toby as a friend and is unable to tolerate Betty’s actions. Will she stand up and protect her friends, read the book !
Even though this book is set in the past, there could be bullies now. The book will help you to identify some of these actions that are troublesome and not only repeat them but also stand up to them.
